My Iowa Caucus Obsession

I'm obsessed with the Iowa Caucuses. I went to college in Iowa, have relatives there, and still spend a significant amount of time in and around Iowa and Iowans. The caucus process is like this weird ritual of Americana that could only work in Iowa. And the fact that every four years Iowa becomes the center of the world is just crazy. Of course there have been a MILLION pieces written about the caucuses. This one by Caroline Kitchener for the Washington Post is a unique take. It follows a group of 8th graders as they conduct their own caucus and kind of realize it's all about peer pressure!
