cubookladies - in the beginning

One cold January evening in 2006, a group of ladies got together to talk about books, and babies, and husbands, and jobs and whatever else we could come up with so we could stay and drink and not deal with our babies, and husbands, and jobs and whatever.  Fourteen years later our group has changed a bit, and many of our babies are getting ready to go to college.  But we still get together (almost) monthly - and sometimes we talk about the books!

We have read about 120 books in nearly 15 years, from Dracula (1897) to The Silent Patient (2019), chosen by a rotation of members (or sometimes by Amy!)  Some have been great, some have been terrible.   Some led to long, in-depth discussions, some we barely talked about at all.
